Bandipur, once a hunting reserve of the Maharaja of Mysore, is a tiger reserve and a part of Nilgiri Biospehere. It is one of the most beautiful forests and is home to several endangered wildlife.

Bandipur is near to some delightful places in South India. These include Coorg and Mysore.
